EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TRANSITIONS
Katie Hultquist recently announced that she will step down from her role as Executive Director later this summer. After 8 years, Katie is moving on to new challenges and adventures – though she plans to stay involved with Passages as a volunteer and donor. We are grateful for Katie’s leadership during her time as Executive Director. The Board recently launched a Transition Committee and hired a search consultant (with the generous support of Social Venture Partners Seattle) to lead our efforts to identify our next executive leader. 12TH ANNUAL COURAGE BENEFIT IS A HUGE SUCCESS!
Thank you so much to all who were able to join us at the Spirit of Washington Event Center in Renton for our 12th annual Courage Benefit: A Taste of Adventure on May 3! Here are a few highlights from the event:
We raised $30,000 during the Support a Girl portion of the evening – surpassing our goal and the amount we raised last year significantly.
Many guests got to experience an activity that our girls do on course: “Postcard Poems” or “Stepping Stones,” led by one of our fabulous and talented instructors.
Everyone was inspired by alumna Jasmine’s poem, which drew a standing ovation.
Overall, the event was a huge success and raised approximately $135,000 for our programs. Many thanks to our numerous and generous volunteers, guests, and donors who participated in the event! We also appreciate this year’s event sponsors and encourage you to do business with them and thank them for supporting Passages Northwest:
