Emily Tenenbom is a student and an activist. She was born in Seattle and attends Lakeside High School, and at seventeen years old, she is almost a legal adult.

She's passionate but hasn't yet found her passions, vocal but hasn't yet found her means of expression. She wants to be a writer, a social activist, a poet, a traveler, a film-maker, a businesswoman, a journalist, a teacher, and an entrepreneur, all in one. She enjoys dreaming, learning, and music.

Emily did the Passages Leadership and Service backpacking trip summer of 2008, and this is her first year on the Youth Advisory Board.
