Satprit Kaur currently attends University of Washington. She joined the GAB when she was 13 because it sounded like fun, and has served for over 5 years. She enjoys teaching and marine biology, and intends to become a high school science teacher and teach her students about her favorite animal, the sea anemone. She thinks the best thing about Passages Northwest is the cool programs offered for lots of different types of girls. Her first trip with Passages Northwest was a mother/daughter sea kayaking trip, and she has been a dedicated PNW fan since. She brings a unique blend of science, religion, and social justice to the world and dreams of justice for all. She was born in Chicago, Illinois.
