Kendra recently returned from Costa Rica where she was working as an Outward Bound instructor, leading her students rafting, diving, snorkeling, rapelling, and hiking. She has spent most of her life in the pacific northwest, mainly Washington and Idaho. She graduated from The Evergreen State College, where she studied health sciences, psychology, counseling, natural health and American Sign Language (ASL).

Kendra is extremely passionate about experiencing the natural world, especially in the context of self-exploration. She feels that physical activity combined with reflection builds the knowledge and skills necessary to a holistic educational experience. She enjoys biking, canoeing, writing prose and poetry, painting, drawing, and learning!
