Programs for Parents
in

Based on our experience and the research about what works for girls, we know that involving families is critical to our success. At Passages Northwest, we prioritize relationships with parents, guardians, and other caregivers to ensure that all of your questions are answered and provide any support you or your girl may need. Our programs and events for parents include:

Parent/Daughter Programs: We offer rock climbing, sea kayaking, and team building adventures for girls and their parents, guardians, or other primary adult caregivers--to get outside together, have fun, and develop their relationship. Please see our Programs page for details. Or contact us with your interests--perhaps we can design a custom course for you and your group. For more information around pricing and what a program might look like for your group, contact Robin Chiles, Outreach & Community Program Manager at robin@passagesnw.org.

Trainings and Workshops: We offer custom trainings and workshops for parent groups. For more information, click here.

Communication and Support: Families who sign up for our Girls Rock!, Girls Wilderness or Alumnae programs can expect individualized attention and support from our staff. We encourage your phone calls and emails, invite you to join us for an open house or orientation to learn more about us, and work with you to determine the program and price that will work best for your family. Once the program starts we invite you to join your girl for the beginning of her course and to return for her course graduation. Many families return for ongoing programs, to volunteer, or as donors. We hope you will stay involved with our community!
